I am an online travel agent based in Tyler, Texas. My husband Larry and I work together in HarmonsTravel. We have learned much about the travel industry and we would like to share with you the benefits of what we have learned. We were first introduced to travel as a business in 2006. I began to study and work with travel suppliers so I can find the best travel for myself and others. I have been amazed to find all the different options that are available - not only with the different destinations, but with all the amazing options there are within each destination.
There are so many different types of travel like Adventure Travel, Family Travel, Luxury Travel, Escorted Travel, Resort Travel, Cruise Travel, All Inclusive Travel, Accessible Travel etc. The one thing that surprised me the most was how little I really knew about travel. I had always booked all my own travel, but as I reached the stage of life that I would have the time to really travel extensively, I realized that my knowledge was very limited.
That is when I decided I wanted to become a Travel Agent so I could study and explore the possibilities for myself and also for others. My Bucket List of Travel was already pretty long, but every week I find a new adventure that gets added to my list.
